Stable View, in Aiken, South Carolina, is one of the region’s preeminent international equestrian training facilities, and as a result of its ongoing growth is pleased to announce the expansion of its facility offerings, event schedule and support for the equestrian sport in 2017.

The inaugural Advanced Oktoberfest Horse Trials hosted international level competitors vying for unprecedented prize money on the newly constructed and challenging Advanced level cross country course, designed by Captain Mark Phillip’s and built by ETB Equine Construction.  Plans are underway to build and complete the Intermediate level course by late spring of 2017 with anticipation of running all the levels, including Intermediate and Advanced, at the 2017 Oktoberfest Horse Trials.

January Aiken Opener

In an effort to show continued support of Eventing, Stable View is kicking off it’s 2017 season by offering competitors approximately 30% off their traditional entry fees for all divisions at the Aiken Opener on January 14th and 15th.  The Aiken Opener will run over the new cross country course and will be in a one day format on Saturday and Sunday.  Competition levels for this USEA recognized event will be for the Beginner Novice through Preliminary levels.

The Aiken Opener is an excellent opportunity for riders to come and gallop over Stable View’s expansive cross country course, which has been meticulously groomed and maintained with Winter Rye, insuring the best footing that nature can provide in the region.  The Aiken Opener will start on the opposite side of the property by the Kennels instead of near the Grass Dressage Arenas, offering a new perspective to riders familiar with the venue.

Entries open for the Aiken Opener on November 29th.
